Holly is a proud fifth-generation Texan, descended from some of the rugged, adventurous, hopeful, and courageous early settlers of Johnson County, Texas. Most of that side of Holly’s family still lives in the very communities her ancestors helped establish, where they continue to raise families and contribute to the towns they call home.

Born in Childress, Texas, Holly proudly shares her birthplace with George Campbell Childress, the lawyer, statesman, and primary author of the Texas Declaration of Independence. Learning this connection during elementary school sparked her lifelong love of Texas history.

Although her time in the Texas Panhandle was brief, Holly has called Boerne home for the past 35 years. Many of her fondest memories have been shaped by Texas’s rivers, creeks, ponds, trails, and summers spent exploring state parks. Today, she is grateful to share her love of the Texas Hill Country with her husband of 19 years, Blake, and their four children: Anna, Macy, Collin, and Dax. With two teenagers and two young children, ages five and six, the family places a high priority on enjoying the beauty and adventure found in the “miles and miles of Texas.”

Holly brings more than 20 years of creative experience across a variety of industries, including international membership organizations, finance, real estate, small business, and nonprofit sectors. Her deep love for Texas, combined with a keen eye for storytelling through diverse forms of media, has enabled her to create compelling content that connects with audiences, strengthens brands, and highlights the people, places, and businesses that help communities thrive.

Passionate about creativity and strategic communication, Holly enjoys bringing ideas to life and delivering meaningful results through authentic storytelling and purposeful engagement.
